1. Driver Service Overview

2. Driver Requirements

2.1 Vehicle and Documentation

• Valid South African driver's license (Code 8 or higher)
• Reliable vehicle with current registration and license disk
• Personal vehicle insurance covering delivery activities
• Valid roadworthy certificate
• Vehicle must be maintained in safe, clean condition
• Drivers responsible for all vehicle maintenance and costs

2.2 Technology Requirements

• MANDATORY: Android smartphone (iOS not supported)
• Always have data and airtime for app functionality
• GPS navigation capability for delivery routing
• Regular app updates and maintenance
• Backup power bank for extended shifts

2.3 Professional Standards

• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Local area knowledge and navigation skills
• Strong customer service communication skills
• Punctual and reliable service commitment
• Background check clearance

3. Earnings Structure

• Delivery Earnings: 70% of all delivery fees
• Tips: 100% of customer tips go directly to driver
• Performance Bonuses: Additional bonuses for excellent customer reviews and ratings
• Daily Payments: At 9:00 AM for previous day's earnings
• Payment Schedule: Payments exclude weekends and public holidays
• No fuel allowance provided - drivers cover all fuel costs

4. Service Standards

4.1 Food Delivery Standards

• Pickup within 15 minutes of order readiness notification
• Delivery within 30-45 minutes of order confirmation
• Maintain food temperature during transport
• Professional handling of hot and cold items
• Contactless delivery options when requested

4.2 Concierge Delivery Standards

• Respect customer privacy and confidentiality
• Handle items with appropriate care
• Provide updates on delivery status
• Obtain signatures for high-value items
• Follow specific delivery instructions

5. Vehicle and Insurance Responsibilities

• Drivers responsible for maintaining valid comprehensive insurance
• All vehicle maintenance, repairs, and costs borne by driver
• Vehicle must be roadworthy and regularly serviced
• Emergency breakdown assistance may be provided
• No fuel allowance or vehicle assistance provided
• Drivers may use cars, motorcycles, or bicycles
